Kansas City's Youth Bringin' Back the Sounds of Big Band, Swing, and Jazz
5 Star Jazz Band averages one performance per week at venues throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Our inaugural 2008-2009 season included paid and charitable performances at KC Riverfest on July 3 and 4, Italian Festival in Zona Rosa Commons, Barnes and Noble “Tribute to the Troops,” Christmas concerts at the Kansas City Veterans Hospital and various churches and senior living communities, civic and corporate events, and special appearances at the Cameron Veterans Home and Jameson County Fair.
